Software Tester

Responsibilities

The QA Tester oversees testing our insurance and finance core application as well as our e-commerce websites and partner portal. Together with the rest of the team, he/she ensures that the test coverage is comprehensive, and that releases deployed to production are of good quality, and free of any major defect.

Job Duties

• Identify and document test scenarios.
• Write and implement acceptance criteria.
• Log and document defects identified during testing.
• Quickly identify and escalate defects with high severity to the project team.
• Re-test defects marked as fixed and update status.
• Perform regression testing.
• Help maintain the regression pack.
• Perform smoke tests after system deployments.
• Participate actively in the scrum process.
• Help automate test scenarios.
• Analyze test automation results.
• Work with Scrum team with Agile Methodology
• Ensure that the UAT is done according to the timeline set including planning for contingency in case of errors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Some experience in the finance or insurance industry would be a plus.
• Knowledge of CRM or Salesforce would be a plus.
• Good with numbers
• Understand the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Test Life Cycle).
• Basic knowledge of REST API and experience using tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, like Selenium.
• Fluent in Thai and English
